Aesteem

ÆSTEEM – a compound of ‘aesthetics’ and ‘esteem’ – is a promising product.
In 2014 it was awarded the Henry van de Velde label. That same year ÆSTEEM also received an A Design Award. This is, amongst others, thanks to the switch’s sleek, architectural look. Similar to all of the other Lithoss products, ÆSTEEM has a very distinctive design with the square as basic form.
The design is inspired by our daily actions on our mobile devices, i.e. ‘Touch and Swipe’. ÆSTEEM translates these movements into a light switch, without losing the mechanical feeling of pushing the button of that switch. You can feel and hear the motion by swiping your finger from the top of the switch to the bottom. The switch meets all the present-day requirements without having to compromise on authenticity and craftsmanship.
